Jason Baldari

Originally from the Jersey Shore, I moved to Los Angeles in 2007, and have been working in the entertainment industry ever since, creating motion graphics. My life in California widened my view of the world in many ways, but a deep love of the wilderness didn't strike me until 2020, when I visited Yosemite for the first time. Oh my god. Unreal. Magnificent. It wasn't just a great trip... Yosemite made its way under my skin, and though I didn't know it then, I was permanently changed. I had to have more… go deeper. I became a Sierra person. I began hiking in epic places on trails I never thought I’d be able to, and eventually, backpacking them. After summiting Half Dome and heading a few backcountry trips in the High Sierra and the High Desert, I felt compelled to, as best I could, capture the lightning in a bottle that these experiences were to me. This brought me back to a neglected love from my 20s, photography. Since then, my Fujifilm X-T5 and I have had the good fortune to go on a bunch of trips together, all amazing, all beautiful.
