Description

While hiking around Swiftcurent Lake after setting off from Many Glacier Hotel on an overcast morning we arrived near the far side of the lake and had an amazing view back at the hotel. The perspective of the hotel from this viewpoint really showed the grandeur of the setting and how "small" the hotel is compared to its surroundings even though it is quite a large facility. The scene also provided quite the perspective of what it must have been like in the hotels early days and what an awe-inspiring site it must have been when it was built (and still is today).
