Description
Fall in the national forests of Colorado is my absolute favorite. The cool crisp air, the golden hues, hiking and camping in beautiful locations... it just doesn't get any better for me and my family. Last Fall, we enjoyed an early morning hike along the Beaver Ponds Trailhead and were treated to serene conditions. My two young sons confidently lead the way as we hiked, both full of wonder. They are neurodivergent: my oldest is autistic, while my youngest, pictured here, has ADHD. They view the world with such innocence and curiosity, and I loved how this starburst view of my youngest seemed to capture his sense of awe.
