Description

I arrived here in mid-Sept. '18 and was not expecting snow! This was the first snowfall of the year. I spent about an hour around the corner trying to get one of the famous shots of Lake Helen and Lassen Peak to the North but the clouds just wouldn't cooperate! Got in my car to start exploring more of the park and this view was only about a mile away looking to the West.
