Description

Proposal on Top of Half Dome

After hiking out of Yosemite Valley on our first day on the JMT, we summited Half Dome just before sunset. I originally planned to propose once we finished our hike, but this moment was absolutely perfect and it ended up being providential because five days later, forest fires forced us off the trail. It was a proposal on top of the world, with forest fires and the chaos of 2020 left to fall away below us.
