Description

Badlands, Zabriskie Point, Death Valley National Park. Shadows at dawn set off the hills of the badlands. The tan rocks are eroded sandstones and clays of the “Furnace Creek Formation.” The dark rocks on the ridge are lava from ancient volcanic eruptions.
