Description

Sunrise in the wild peaks of the Maroon Bells Snowmass Wilderness. Known primarily for its maroon-colored sedimentary rock comprising the most popular and recognizable areas, there is also strikingly beautiful gray granite on its west side. This steep, light, granite erupts with contrast and color during sunrise and sunset and forces any visitor to just stop and observe.
