Description

Just before the lockdowns began in March, I photographed this snow covered landscape near Dillon, CO while taking a break on my drive from Buffalo, NY to Monticello, UT for work. It was my first time in Colorado and first trip driving across the country. The entire drive was full of exhilarating sites like this one. Now, the photo itself gives me chills as a reminder of the cold temperatures that early morning and the uneasiness of traveling with the threat of a pandemic - one that continues to alter so many aspects of our lives.
