Description

The beautiful sheer walls and cliffs of Canyon de Chelly have been lived in for thousands of years with the Navajo still in the Canyon raising family, farms and livestock that can be seen from the rim. Cliff dwellings can be seen in the canyon. The monument is located entirely on the Navajo Nation.
