Collared Lizard Since my discovery of the Collared Lizard at the visitors center in Escalante, I have been searching for more information. During my travels this fall the Rangers said a sighting is rare, more likely in June/July. As I hiked Holly Trial on a sunny mid-September, I saw many lizards. I spoke to each one requesting that they tell collared Lizard that I was here and would love to visit. The hike came to the end, I thought not today, then I turned to see on the cairn a friend.
