Description

With the park nearly vacant right before the pre-oversnow season closure, we had a quiet day in Yellowstone. When we noticed a coyote purposefully heading toward a lake, we thought we would pull over to watch the scene unfold. We had positioned ourselves so that the the coyote, the lake, and the bison herd would all be caught in this action shot of the coyote's hunt. Fortunately, the camera clicked at just the right time and we captured this amazing Yellowstone moment!
