Description

Grand Canyon Day and Night
This photo is composed of two shots: one during sunset to get the amazing light beam into the bottom of the canyon, and one during the night to capture the milky way. The layered red rocks reveal millions of years of geological history carved by erosion through time, while life flushes where conditions allow. The sky is studded with thousands of twinkling stars with light that has traveled in time to finally reach us.
