Description

Little did I know that I would get to experience up close what is seen here below. I was ecstatic to get a last minute cancellation to stay at Phantom Ranch and spent two blissful days exploring the trails and taking longer ways down and out of the canyon. The clump of green trees below is Indian Garden, an oasis, even with pink flowering trees. You can see the trail go out to plateau point. From the trail, I saw it was filled dark purple cacti, lavender flowers and bushes of yellow flowers.
