Description

Polaris sits nearly stationary amid a sea of swirling stars in Death Valley National Park. Captured during the freezing cold of January, this composite image is comprised of more than 100 photos captured over 90 minutes as the earth rotates. This particular image is near the beginning of the Cottonwood-Marble Canyon Loop.
