Description

This is the Deschutes National Forest in Central Oregon, established in 1908. Here you can enjoy spectacular views, explore numerous cinder cones, lava flows, lava tubes and the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. In addition, you can go boating and fishing in the Lava Lake and Little Lava Lake (pictured), mountain biking, hiking, skiing on Mount Bachelor and other mountains in the area.
