Description

Hahns Peak is iconic peak located in a historic Colorado mining town. The peak is distinguished among the rolling aspen covered hillsides in north routt of Colorado. A fire tower built in 1908, one of the oldest fire towers in Colorado, sits atop the peak nicknamed 'Old Baldy'. North Routt, where Hahn's Peak stands out, is a rural area with many historic private ranches who still practice free ranch cattle grazing every summer. During the winters the community brings out backcountry skis.
