Description

My husband and I love to botanize the local flora wherever we visit. We are always intrigued in what we find, and here at Kigor Gorge, in the Steens Mountain Wilderness, with its magnificent view, my husband found an interesting plant in the buckwheat family, an Eriogonum, species yet to be identified. Because of the the smokey haze from the wildfires in OR and WA at that time, I took a B/W photo to show more contrast of this incredible geological feature with one person focusing on one plant.
