Description

"There are far better things ahead than the ones we leave behind"

I always wanted to get this kind of a shot since the day I visited the Blue Ridge Parkway during fall of 2015. At that time I did not have a telephoto lens to get the reach to capture this. So when I visited the Skyline Drive last weekend, I finally managed to capture the blue outline of the mountains from one of the overlooks during the early morning hours. The soft light of the dawn or the dusk is the key to get the contrast.
