Description

I hiked out to Delicate Arch in hopes of capturing the Milky Way, but this fast moving thunder storm came rolling in. Luckily, I was able to capture both lightning and a rare iridium flare in this long exposure. An iridium flare looks similar to a shooting star, but moves more slowly because it is light reflection off a satellite in orbit. I got drenched on the hike back to my car, but the image was worth it.
