Description

A pika on alert near Death Canyon Trail. I've seen a lot of writing that pika are relatively bold when it comes to people, but that was not my experience. This pika and their buddies was super vigilant and very quick to duck for cover with my slightest movement. Really nice to see them with so much pink in the rocks. June 2025.
