Description

This was photo was taken early enough to watch the sunrise over Mt.Hood. The temperature was in the low 40’s and pretty chilly but was not going to prevent me from getting the perfect shot. Seeing this photo still reminds of the stillness I felt of the pure, raw nature around me. I was holding my coffee mug, breathing in the cold air and overwhelmed by the beauty right in front of me. What do you think about when you see something like this? I thought about how thankful and privileged I was to experience the calm silence of the mirrored reflection, that Mt. Hood gave me. So blessed.
