Description

I always have my camera on ready go when I'm visiting parks and refuges, on this occasion it paid off. I was observing some white pelicans in Merritt Island's NWR when I noticed all the pelicans starting to fly off obrubtly, It was then that I noticed this one pelican struggling to get away. A florida alligator was looking to make a meal out of this remaining pelican, thankfully for the pelican it didn't succeed but made for a great picture.
