Description

This Palomino Paint was with six other males. Out of all the horses I saw, I liked this one's coloring and paint pattern best. Occasionally you find one male by himself, but they usually hang out together. This was a very windy morning but had beautiful clouds and clear views. Over the four visits, 3+ hour each, in 3 days, we spotted about 70+ horses. We saw most of them at one watering hole in the evenings. Otherwise we drove many miles spotting them often, but not always near the roads. Plan on spending some time in the basin if you want to see horses, but it is well worth it.
