Description

We were on a family trip to Portland. I had deliberately planned the route through Crater Lake National park. I had already done my homework about the rise time of the center of the Milky Way, viewing angle, the best time to shoot before the Moon rise and a lot more. My Original plan was to climb the watchtower hill. But, to my surprise the trail was snow packed and I was not at all geared up for the challenge. So, I had to drop the hike half the way and shoot from the lakeside. It was a starry night with absolutely no clouds in the sky. My daughter was literally jumping with excitement!.
