Description

This radiant crawfish is enjoying the natural hot springs of Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Just a short distance from Death Valley, these heated waters boast a colorful blue hue and provide an ideal playground for many small critters such as the desert pupfish. This crayfish was spotted crawling through the reeds and burrowing underneath algae.
