While watching bears in Alaska during the salmon run, I was extremely lucky to find this older sow fishing along the river. From a safe distance we watched as she chased after fish and made diving attempts to catch them. She wasn't that successful that day but I was able to capture a few really fun photos of her diving through the water, trying to get the salmon. Its a day and experience I will never forget.
