Description

When I visited the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site in West Branch Iowa, the phrase that immediately came to my mind was ‘humble beginnings’. Even though Herbert Hoover only lived here until he was nine years old, it eventually became the final resting place for both Mr. & Mrs. Hoover. This image from August 2020 captures the small two-room birthplace cottage of the 31st President of the United States.
