Description

This view of Little Rock Central High School makes me think about the view that so many people had before me walking up this flight of stairs. This was a very profound time to be in Little Rock, there were nightly marches between here and the Capital for the Black Live Matters movement. Most things were closed due to Covid, but the ranger met us outside for a passport stamp and told us his story about being a student at the school himself. Of all the National park sites I have been too, I have never felt closer to our nation's history.
