Description

My husband and I were camping in Shenandoah National Park to hike the Appalachian Trail. Early one cold foggy morning we drove down Skyline Drive to find the trailhead to start our hike. We saw many beautiful tree silhouettes amidst the fog, but this lone tree stood out like a sentinel guarding the edge of the forest.
