Description

This photo is special to me because it captures the beauty of the Mesa Arch in the early morning light. When I look back at this photo, I think to the morning when this shot was taken. It was a brisk morning, and I regretted not bringing a jacket. I was huddled with other hikers, anxious to take in the sunset. I spent the morning talking to strangers, hearing about their favorite public lands, and swapping stories. That morning captured the essence of outdoor experiences - enjoying and preserving our lands and learning about the world around us. I hope this photo encourages other people to get outside and see our beautiful lands through their own eyes - and maybe lenses too!
