Description

Using a remote trigger I was able to capture this close-up view of a sow brown bear as she searched for clams on the beach. As she clammed, I walked 50 yards ahead of her and placed the camera in front of a clam hole. I then sat back and prayed that she would walk towards that clam hole. As the sow got closer to the hole and camera, I fired away using a remote trigger attached to the camera. Over a period of three months I was only able to capture a handful of images that worked, this one being my favorite.
