Leading to the Fire

The picture depicts the coexistence of nature & human and the struggle to attain shelter in front of natural power & calamities.

In 2018, active shield volcano, Kīlauea in the Big Islands, Hawaii erupted which destroyed thousands of human lives and neighborhoods.

The shot was taken from a Door-Off helicopter, a few weeks after the eruption. The picture shows the path of lava which flowed towards Pacific Ocean from the fissure of the volcano.
