Description

My brother and I timed our visit to this picturesque waterfall; located on the North Fork Blackwater River; to catch the autumn color at it's peak and we were not disappointed. The orange colored rocks along the river are due to the acid runoff from the Davis Coal and Coke Company which was established in the late 1800s.
