Description

My brother and I timed our visit to this picturesque waterfall; located on the North Fork Blackwater River; to catch the fall color at it's peak and we were not disappointed. My brother was kind enough to let me use his camera for this image. The rust colored rocks along the river are from acid mine drainage from the Davis Coal and Coke Company which was established in the late 1800s.
