Description

Super bloom at Death Valley National Park.
Death Valley is known as one of the hottest, driest places in North America. El Niño activity resulted in rare super bloom in 2016 and made death valley a valley of life with thousands of brilliantly-colored wildflowers.
I was photographing the desert gold during the evening golden hours. I made a quick adjustment in the aperture to keep the flowers in focus. I was glad to capture the last sun rays illuminating the Death valley’s signature landscape in the background.
