Description

Twilight.
This is one of the images that I have envisioned when I first saw Mono lake during the fall of 2015. Unfortunately, my wife and I lost all our images from that trip due to some storage device malfunction. During the 2017 winter, we decided to revisit those spectacular tufas. While it was cold and windy, Mono lake did not disappoint us. We roamed around the lake the entire day and stayed there until after sunset to document the color transition in the sky and the tufas. The evening twilight and the golden tufas made it a perfect day. No regrets!
