Description

The Minarets are an iconic cluster of peaks located in California's Eastern Sierra mountains. John Muir was particularly fond of the Sierras, which he studied and explored extensively, as they yielded an abundance of interesting insights on the process of glaciation. Here, the Minarets glow a fiery amber in the pre-dawn and are reflected in the cold alpine lake below.
