Description

It was late afternoon and I was hiking along a dirt road in the refuge and came upon a Burrowing Owl by the side of the road. I approached very slowly to get within photo range with my zoom lens and was able to click some pictures as it handsomely posed for me in the beautiful light. A moment in nature I won't forget.
