Description

House on Fire. During the absolute right time of day, and only once per day, these ancient ruins appear to be on fire as sunlight bounces off an opposite canyon wall and radiates from the cliff's roof. Contrary to the name, these Anasazi structures were actually granaries used to store food about 1,000 years ago. Finding it was tricky, not because of where it was on the trail-- but because people have mislabeled it under false locations on Google Maps, keeping the location secret to help preserve the ruins.
