Description

Monarch Butterfly. We in were stopped at the visitor center in 2012, when someone came in and mentioned there were thousands of Monarch Butterflies just down the road in a field of goldenrod. We hopped in the car and drove to a parking area, and there they were, along with many other types of butterflies. They were migrating and totally ignored my presence. Unfortunately, one week later is when hurricane Sandy came through, probably blowing them way off course.
