Description

Walking through the stark white dunes of White Sands National Park is like walking through a blank canvas waiting to be filled by the day's shifting light. The sand itself transitions from blues to bright whites and warm oranges and reds depending on the time of day and the season--and it is all unbelievable. Really, it's hard to understand until you see it for your self. As the world's largest gypsum dunefield, this place certainly deserved permanent protection to provide unique experiences for generations to come!
