Description

This was from a camping trip that my friends and I threw together at the very last minute. I knew that Comet Neowise was still around, and the Milky Way was the best to view at that time of the summer. I texted my friends, and we were headed for a campground two hours later. The sun had set and we were starting a fire to do some cooking with. There were two photographers who were camping right next to us. They saw I was there to take pictures too, and luckily pointed the comet out to me through some long exposure test shots they were taking. Although Joshua Tree has almost no light pollution, it was still almost impossible to see with the naked eye. If it wasn't for those two photographers, I wouldn't have been able to take this photo.
