Description

Black Canyon of the Gunnison is really beyond words, so I would like to share an emotive representation of how someone might process it--by sitting down and staring at it for a while. The nuanced shadows moving across its cracks, sills, and dikes and the faint, yet powerful roar of the river rising from the depths below. Yes, this obscure national park is tucked away and often forgotten, but it experiencing it removes you from time altogether and leaves you in a state of true awe.
