Description

Yellowstone Lake is notorious for being one of the windiest places in the park. It almost always has white caps on it, and some of the storms that come through the area are absolutely brutal. However, this image paints a different picture. I was lucky enough to visit the lake on a calm, sunny day and capture the rare occurrence. When viewing this photo, I hope you feel the warmth of the sun on your shoulders and hear the sounds of birds in the distance.
