Description

After camping in Chiricahua National Monument, drove over the mountains on Forest Road 42 to do some birding. Not expecting much scenery after the previous wildfire, we were pleasantly surprised by the yellow wildflower bloom! The contrast between the dark burn remnants and the bright yellows made for a memorable moment.
