Every season brings a different aesthetic and experience in any landscape. This exact perspective is essentially not possible any time other than the middle of the winter, given it is on a frozen lake. What makes the frozen lakes in these windswept valleys even more spectacular, though, is the presence of blue frozen waves across the seemingly flash-frozen surface.
