Description

This was taken on day four of our nine day hike on the Wonderland Trail, from the Paradise River. A 93 mile hike, with 22,000ft of elevation gain/loss around the base of Mount Rainier. This was arguably one of our best days. While below freezing, it wasn't raining...yet, and we had just come off of a shorter hiking day and a resupply at Longmire Ranger Station. Little did we know what the rest of the trail had in store for us. I still can't decide if this trail was harder physically or mentally.
