Description

These spires of the Margerie Glacier rise before the unseen ramparts of the Fairweather Range, reaching heights of more than 15,000 feet and frequently enveloped by impenetrable mist. The Margerie Glacier marks the end of Glacier Bay, beyond which lies the Tatshensini-Alsek Wilderness of Canada, together comprising one of the largest wilderness areas on Planet Earth.
