Description

Fourth of July Canyon in the Manzano Mountains of New Mexico is one of the few places in the area to see colorful fall foliage. I drove out there on a day off of work in October hoping for some peak color. I got all the color I could hope for before a snowstorm blew in, creating an even more breathtaking scene of snow among the maple trees. It was as if two seasons had come together.
