Description

I arrived at Devils Tower National Monument after a long drive in the late afternoon and tried to capture it from a classic spot. However the storm came and I felt very disappointed, tired and fell asleep in the car. When the rain just stopped I woke up and saw a beautiful rainbow above the Devils Tower. I mounted my camera on the tripod quickly and took several photos of the rainbow. I used a solo tree as foreground to create a symmetric composition. The rainbow faded out soon.
